Farm Bureau earns awards

Obion County’s Farm Bureau Insurance Agency brought home two top honors during the 62nd Annual Farm Bureau Insurance Agents Conference awards ceremony held recently in Franklin.
Local Farm Bureau agent Josh Simmons was recognized in the Top Ten Agent ranking for 2011 and the local agency was named the number 10 agency in the state at the conference.
Local Farm Bureau agency manager Hadley Malone accepted the award on behalf of the local agency.
The local agency is made up of Malone, Simmons and fellow agents Brian Burcham and Kent Morris.
The recent awards ceremony capped off a day of seminars, information exchange and networking at the Marriott Cool Springs, with 450 agents and home office staff from across the state attending the conference.
