Fulton police have passed along information to the community about poor quality counterfeit $50 bills being found in a bank deposit in western Kentucky.
An employee with Regions Bank in Paducah, Ky., found counterfeit $50 bills in deposits from businesses in Paducah, Mayfield, Ky., and Calvert City, Ky., according to Paducah police’s Operation ALERT, passed along courtesy of Fulton Police Chief Terry Powell.
All of the bills have the same serial number: 1B65717447A. They were also reported to be of very poor quality with images that appear to have been drawn onto the bills, according to the police alert.
