Sue Bell Posted: Thursday, August 11, 2011 3:57 pm The Messenger, August 10, 2011 Sue Bell, 77, of Union City died 7:46 p.m. Aug. 9, 2011, at her home. Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenny Locke officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery near Union City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-7 p.m. Thursday. The family requests that memorials be made to Shady Grove United Methodist Church and mailed to Kay Bransford, 3221 Section Line Road, Union City, TN 38261. She was born July 19, 1934, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of the late Guy Raymond and Ida May (Ferguson) Kimble. She was a retired employee of the former Salant & Salant in Union City and was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Smith of Clinton, Ky.; her granddaughter, Mary Sue Moore of Union City; her grandson, Joe Byrd Jr. of Union City; two great-grandsons, James Tully Moore and Will Thomas Moore, both of Union City; her sister, Betty Parker of Missouri; and three brothers, J.B. Kimble, Delbert Kimble and Marvin Kimble, all of California. She was also preceded in death by her son, Steve Bell; and her brother, Raymond Kimble.
