Miss Ervin to wed McCulloch on Aug. 20

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Natalie Taylor Albright Ervin of Obion and Thomas Ashe McCulloch of Beaufort, S.C., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Greg and Donna Ervin of Obion. Her grandparents are Ralph Kizer and the late Betty Kizer, Anna Laura Ervin and the late James L. Ervin, all of Obion.
She is a 2011 graduate of Obion County Central High School. While at OCCHS, she was an officer in Health Occupations of America, a clinical intern at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and a member of Future Farmers of America, Beta Club National Honors Society. She plans to attend college in the spring.
She is employed at Ervin Feed and Grain.
The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Laura McCulloch of Dyersburg. His grandparents are Dr. Mavis Johnson and the late Robert Johnson of Jackson, James McCulloch and the late Glynda McCulloch of Dyersburg and Moorman and Jane McAnulty of Bolivar.
He is a 2008 graduate of Dyer County High School. He graduated from Navy bootcamp in April 2009 and from Corps school in July 2009.
While attending DCHS, he was active in FFA, serving as an officer and as a member of numerous judging teams. Earning his Greenhand and Chapter awards, he also received Proficiency Awards for forage and was awarded his State Farmer’s Degree in 2008. He successfully showed Charolais cattle on the local, state and national level as a member of the Tennessee Junior Charolais Association and the American Junior Charolais Association.
He is currently a corpsman in the United States Navy.
The couple will exchange vows 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at Zion United Methodist Church in the Zion community. Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will be held at the Newbern Depot Center immediately following the ceremony. All friends and family are invited to attend.
