This weekend, Weakley County will launch the first of three fundraising events in the continuing war against cancer.
Weakley Southwest Relay for Life leaders include (from left) co-chair Ray Ann Dudley, chair Jeff Rial and co-chair Sherrie Wright.
Weakley Southwest Relay for Life will kick off the Relay season Friday at 5 p.m. at the Greenfield School football field and will go through early Saturday morning.
Relay for Life, which began in May 1985 with one man’s effort to combat cancer, has become an entire nation’s quest to solve the mystery of a malady that affects families all over the world.
