Martha Clemmons, 74, of Hornbeak died May 28, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Frank Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kendall, Don Burpo, Bart Lemmons, Travis Burpo, Will Boyld, Thomas Burpo and Chris Burpo. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Guy Hogg, Sonny Godsey, Butch Hubble, J.R. Smith and Preston Knight.
She was a retired seamstress for the former Salant & Salant in Obion and was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Campbell of Troy; a son, Teddy Clemmons of Hornbeak; four sisters, Katie Buckelew of Fulton, Gale Godsey of Dresden, Shirley Hubble of Greenfield and Janie Duncan of Hopkinsville, Ky.; three grandchildren, Leanda Roberson of Hornbeak, Robert E. Clemmons of Obion and Amber Clemmons of Hornbeak; and three great-grandchildren, Katie Roberson of Hornbeak and Kaydence Clemmons and Elise Clemmons, both of Obion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Algie and Lou Idell (Dew) Voss; a sister, Jo Smith; and her husband, Robert Clifton Clemmons, who died June 28, 2001.
