NASHVILLE  (AP) — Wednesday is the last day for residents of four counties to apply for disaster food stamps.
The counties are Dyer, Lake, Obion and Stewart, which were affected by recent flooding.
The food stamps have been issued since May 23.  The benefits represent up to a one-month allotment and can be used for up to 90 days at any authorized grocery retailer.
The food stamps are part of the USDA-approved Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Pro-gram.
