Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro has appointed two enrollment concierges to assist Lambuth University students seeking a new academic home after the Jackson institution closes June 30.
Matt Hannah, assistant director of admissions and enrollment services, and E. Michelle Blackwell, director of transfer student services, will be available to aid Lambuth students who want to transfer to MTSU.
Hannah and Ms. Blackwell can connect Lambuth students to resources and information about the university, its academic programs and specifics about enrollment.
Hannah can be reached at (615) 898-2111 or by e-mail at email@example.com. Ms. Blackwell can be reached at (615) 898-5728 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The university has also set up a webpage with links and other information to aid prospective Lambuth students: www.mtsu.edu/lambuth.
MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee said he encourages Lambuth students to explore the myriad of academic options available on the Murfreesboro campus.
“We believe our university holds opportunities for Lambuth students looking for a quality, comprehensive institution to continue their studies,” McPhee said. “We welcome their consideration and are eager to help them find out more about what we have to offer.”
Lambuth was founded in 1843 and was recognized as one of the nation’s Top 250 Liberal Arts Colleges by U.S. News & World Report.
