Newly released results from the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) placed Frontier Communications [NYSE: FTR] among those in first place in terms of  customer  satisfaction in the Telecommunications industry with a score of 76.
“Great companies put their customers first,” commented Steve Crosby, Senior Vice President for Frontier.  “We appreciate our customers valuing their experiences with Frontier enough to put us among the #1 spot for customer satisfaction, four points higher than the next highest-rated company that delivers the same types of products and services and far above the scores of our competitors – Comcast, Time Warner and Charter, who all tied for last place in the survey with an ASCI score of 59.”
ACSI, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., is a national economic indicator of customer evaluations of the quality of products and services available to household consumers in the United States. ACSI surveys customers of companies and users of government services randomly via telephone and email. Those who qualify as respondents are then asked from which company or which brand they have purchased, and responses to the ACSI survey questions are coded as a customer interview for that company.
“These results demonstrate the value Frontier places on service in addition to offering great products to our customers.  We deliver High-Speed Internet along with voice and video services throughout our markets.  For many, Frontier is making access to the Internet possible for the first time.  The ACSI rating proves that high-quality service and dedicated employees continue to make a difference to all consumers and businesses when using phone, video and broadband services.
As this harsh winter demonstrated, the power may go out and the wind may take down cell towers, but the landline phone and broadband access still works and connects you to your friends and loved ones,” Crosby added.
