Jr. 4-H Camp offered for grades 4-6

Children in grades 4-6 are encouraged to participate in this year’s Junior 4-H Camp scheduled for July 11-15 at the Ridley 4-H Center in Columbia.
Any children completing grades four through six this year are eligible to attend. It makes no difference if the child attends city or county schools or is home schooled. Any child can attend 4-H Camp.
Campers will enjoy a variety of experiences such as swimming and the 120-foot water slide, crafts, ga-ga, night hiking, tye dying, min-golf, basketball, the zip-line, land Olympics, the phenomenal wildlife program and activities, including creek stomping, archery, souvenir shop and participating in the Target S.M.A.R.T. program.
The cost of camp is $230. This fee covers transportation, lodging, meals, time at the wildlife cabin and swimming pool, as well as a camp T-shirt. Additional money will be needed for snacks, crafts and souvenirs. The deadline for all applications and fees is June 24. Camping numbers are limited and sign up will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
