Miss Joyner to wed Murphy on June 11

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Laura Marie Joyner and Robert Warren Murphy, both of South Fulton, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry and Sandra Joyner of South Fulton. Her grandparents are Charles and Pearl Thompson, the late Beverly Thompson and the late Don and Roxie Joyner, all of South Fulton.
She is a 2007 graduate of South Fulton High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin on May 14 with a degree in integrated studies kindergarten through sixth grade.
She is employed at Cissy’s Flowers and Gifts.
The groom-elect is the son of David and Anita Murphy of South Fulton. His grandparents are Laverne Sublette and the late James Sublette of Fulton and the late Curtis and Vivian Murphy of South Fulton.
He is a 2005 graduate of SFHS. He received an industrial maintenance diploma and machine tool diploma in 2008 from the Tennessee Technology Center in McKenzie.
He is employed by the City of South Fulton.
The couple will wed 2 p.m. June 11 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, located at 6878 State Route 94 East in Fulton.
A reception will follow in the church’s fellowship hall.
