Fulton meeting set

Fulton City Commission will meet 6:30 p.m. today in the commission room at Fulton City Hall.
Items on the agenda include approval of minutes from the May 9 regular business meeting and the May 19 called meeting; approval of vouchers; approval of the 2009-10 city audit; discussion on authorization for the mayor to sign a contract with SmartBill for mailing of city utility bills; the reappointment of Sally Ivey to the Housing Authority Board; the acceptance of Doug Fisette’s resignation from the Board of Zoning Adjustments; the authorization for fire chief Lamb to accept bids on radio pagers in reference to the fire assistance grant; and discussion related to the Fulton County Interoperability Radio Communications Plan.
Other business, as presented by guests, the city manager, commissioners, the city attorney and the mayor, will also be considered.
The session is open to the public.
The commission will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel and pending litigation.
