Mrs. Shirlene Kearby, 84, of Fulton, Ky., died May 10, 2011, at Haws Memorial Rehab & Nursing Facility, Fulton.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bible Union Missionary Baptist Church, Martin with Revs. Wayne Perkins and Terry Griffin officiating. Burial was in Bible Union Cemetery, with Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Kearby was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Obion County, daughter of the late Shirley Vinson and the late Luretha Westerman Vinson Bynum. She was a member of Bible Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jennings Kearby of Fulton; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Bob Scheffler of Chicago; one sister, Rosetta McWherter of Martin; and two grandchildren, Erin Scheffler and Ian Scheffler, both of Chicago.
She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Milburn Bynum; and one stepsister, Susie Morris.
