Mollie Mae Stroud

Mrs. Mollie Mae Stroud, 102, of Dresden died May 12, 2011, at the Volunteer Community Hospital, Martin.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dresden Pentecostal Church with Brothers Darrell Pollock and Wendell Jellison officiating. Burial was in Brock Cemetery, Greenfield with Bowlin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Robert Stroud, Ken Stroud, Daniel Stroud, Justin Vlack, Mike Pyle and Mike Fitzgerald served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Stroud was born Nov. 1, 1908, in Rutherford, daughter of the late Steve and Katie Brannon King. She was the widow of Phillip Maynard Stroud, a housewife and member of the Dresden Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Brooksie Taylor of Dresden; five sons and daughters-in-law, Newman and Cora Stroud, Charles and Robbie Stroud, Fred and Norma Stroud, Bill and Shirley Stroud, all of Dresden, Bobby and Margie Stroud of Jackson; one sister, Mary Casey of Milan; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Campbell and Bessie Godfrey.
