UTM baseballers
need wins vs. Peay

The University of Tennessee at Martin baseball team has some control of its own postseason destiny this weekend when it takes on the Austin Peay Governors in the final Ohio Valley Conference series of the regular season.
First pitch of the doubleheader from Skyhawk Field is scheduled for 1 this afternoon. Saturday’s game will start at the same hour.
The Skyhawks (18-32, 9-11 OVC) are currently 0.008 percentage points out of sixth place in the OVC standings.
UTM will honor its senior baseball players prior to Saturday’s regular-season finale.
In order to qualify for next week’s postseason tournament in Jackson, UT Martin must win two games this weekend or win one game and hope for Southeast Missouri to sweep Eastern Illinois and Tennessee Tech to win at least one game over Murray State.
Austin Peay (28-21, 15-5 OVC) clinched the OVC regular season title last weekend by taking two of three against Southeast Missouri.
