Jimmy D. Galey, 73, of Greenfield died May 15, 2011, at the Regional Hospital of Jackson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Greenfield, with Mark Abbott and Randy Potts officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Cemetery, Greenfield.
Galey was born June 4, 1937, in Greenfield, son of the late Lonnie Gilbert and Lucille Harrington Galey. He worked as a security officer for Murray Guard of Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Barbara Ball Galey of Sharon; three sons, James Galey of Sharon, Lonnie Galey of Sidonia and Bill English of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four daughters, Donna Norwood and Kathy Tucker, both of Greenfield, Kim Workman Todd and Sherie English, both of Sharon; one sister, Joyce Stover of Martin; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
