Jackson State offers camp

Jackson State Community College is offering a Kid’s Camp this summer for ages 6-13. The camp will run Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. the week of June 6. The cost is $125 for the week.
The campers will be divided up into two age groups, 6-9 years old and 10-13 years old, and allowed to participate in a wide range of fun activities such as self-defense, drawing, cooking, basketball, arts and crafts, Jr. paramedics, games, survivor skills, computer skills, etiquette/manners, and more.
Each session is one hour long and the campers are escorted to and from each session. Lunch is not provided, however the children will be supervised during the lunch period. Snack machines are available, but Jackson State is recommending that each camper bring a lunch
If a child cannot participate in the entire week of activities, enrollment in individual classes is available for $30 per session.
