SFHS students selected for Boys, Girls State | SFHS students selected for Boys, Girls State

Girls State delegate Nickole Neeley and alternate Becky Archie and (back) Boys State delegate Seth Frields and alternate Landon Sowell.

Four outstanding students from South Fulton High School have been honored as this year’s Boys State and Girls State delegates or alternates.
Seth Frields has been chosen as the Boys State delegate, while Nickole Neeley has been selected as the Girls State delegate.
The alternates are Landon Sowell for Boys State and Rebecca “Becky” Archie for Girls State.
All four students have just completed their junior year at SFHS and will be seniors in the fall.
Boys State will be held Sunday through May 28 on the campus of Tennessee Tech in Cookeville and Girls State will be conducted May 29 through June 4 at Lipscomb University in Nashville. American Legion Post 72 is sponsoring South Fulton’s delegates for the prestigious leadership and citizenship programs.
Frields, the son of Danny and Gena Frields, is in the Top Ten of his class and is an honor roll student. He is Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) treasurer and is a member of Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
He is involved in the youth group at his church, South Fulton Baptist Church.
Sowell, the son of John Sowell and Deanna Reams, is an honor roll student who is in the Top Ten of his class. He is FBLA president, as well as a member of Beta Club and FCA.
He has participated in mission trips to Nicaragua with his church, South Fulton Baptist Church.
Miss Neeley, the daughter of Mary and Greg Boyce and Robert Neeley, is in her class’ Top Ten and is an honor roll student. She is an All American Nominee for cheerleading and is involved in cheerleading, Beta Club, FBLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Pep Club, Student Council and FCA.
She is involved in church plays and mission trips with her church, Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dukedom.
Miss Archie, the daughter of Edward and Jeannie Archie, is an honor roll student who received the 100 percent award for cheerleading. She is involved in FBLA, FCCLA and Beta Club and is junior representative for the Student Council.
She helps with Vacation Bible School, sings in the church praise team, helps with the nursery and has gone on mission trips to Nicaragua with her church, South Fulton Baptist Church.
