Miss King to wed Gilbert on June 4

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Amanda Marie King and Chad Henry Gilbert are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie King of South Fulton. She is the granddaughter of Lieselotte Horton, the late Donie Horton, the late Christine King and the late Edwin King, all of South Fulton.
She is a 2003 graduate of South Fulton High School and is employed at First State Bank.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Gilbert of South Fulton. His grandparents are Barbara Gilbert and the late Billy Gilbert of Fulton, Hank Gill of Union City and Martha Gill, formerly of Union City.
He is a 2002 graduate SFHS and is employed at Waymatic.
The couple will exchange vows 6 p.m. June 4 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dowdy at 9384 Garrett Kimbel Road in South Fulton. Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will be held at the Fulton Country Club.
All family and friends are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at South Fulton Baptist Church.
