The Wingfoot Golf Course will start a weekly ladies scramble on May 23.
The scramble will take place at 9 a.m. every Monday.
The cost for members is $3. Non-members can compete in the scramble for $11.

UTM softball team
falls to top seed EIU
The UT Martin softball team scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning, but it was not enough to eliminate No. 1 Eastern Illinois Friday afternoon from the Ohio Valley Conference Championship softball tournament.
The Panthers scored five runs in the sixth inning and defeated the Skyhawks 9-3.
UT Martin finishes the season with a 34-24 won-loss record.
The Skyhawks were 2-2 in the tournament.
UTM’s Jordan Garrett and Laurie Lindow each drove in a run.
Jacksonville State claimed the OVC’s championship with a 9-5 win over Southeast Missouri on Saturday.
Fulton Amazing Race
to benefit local Relay
Parkway Regional Hospital’s “Amazing Race” 5K run/walk is slated for June 11 in Fulton.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fulton County “Relay for Life.”
The event is to begin at the Willingham Center in Fulton at 9 a.m.
Registration is $15 by May 25 or $20 after said date. Sign-ups will be taken the day of the race.
