Two Union City men have been arrested by the Union City Police Department for drug possession.
Brandon Lamont Barham, 20, of 611 Lilac St., Union City, and Damonte Perez Long, 19, of 900 Casey Circle, Union City, were each charged with possession of Schedule VI.
They were arrested Friday after marijuana was allegedly found in plain view in Barham’s vehicle while officers were responding to the 600 block of Nash Street in reference to three people sitting on a car and threatening to shoot someone. Long was a passenger in the vehicle.
A police report states the officer approached the car in question, which was parked on a parking lot in the 600 block of Nash Street, and saw a small amount of marijuana on the front passenger seat of the car.
No charges have been made in the initial case.
