The Westview soccer squad ended its regular season with a bang.
The Chargers blanked South Fulton 8-0 on Friday and shut out Trenton 7-0 on Thursday night.
W’view (11-3-1) returns to action on Tuesday at 6 against the winner of Monday’s soccer game between Gibson County and Crockett County in the Region 7A-AA Tournament.
The Chargers will host that postseason game at their field.
The local soccer landscape differs from all of the other spring sports as there is no district tournament.
Instead, postseason play begins at the regional level.
