Lady Charger basketball honored

Members of the Westview girls’ basketball team were honored at the annual banquet for the squad on Thursday evening.

LADY CHARGER AWARDS — Members of the Westview girls’ basketball team were honored at the annual banquet for the squad on Thursday evening. Those receiving individual honors were (seated, from left) Jacey Sims, most assists and most outstanding defensive player, D.A.L (Dedication, Ability and Leadership) award; Breanna Pitcher, best 3-point percentage, most steals, most outstanding offensive player and D.A.L. award; (standing, from left) Taylor Swaim, best all around; Kaley Leyhue, most rebounds and P.R.I.D.E. award; Teddy Vincent, best free throw percentage, best field goal percentage, most improved and hustle award; Katelyn Luthi, Lady Charger award; and Kendall Leyhue, sixth man award.
