General Sessions

The following cases were disposed of May 2-6 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• John B. Rowe (309 Eddings St., Fulton) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation except time served, $250 fine, costs.
• Jody B. Watts (3588 Kingdom Road, Hornbeak) — public intoxication, 30 days jail suspended upon payment of $10 fine and costs by June 8.
• Ricky D. Smith (422 West Main Ave., Obion) — public intoxication, $10 fine, costs; resisting a stop, arrest or search, 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days (concurrent with Circuit Court sentence).
• Mark D. Cole (7543 Highway 70, Apt. 2, Memphis) — two counts of misdemeanor theft, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation except time served, $100 fine costs on each count.
• Bruce A. Hughes (513 Nash St., Apt. 44, Union City) — theft, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation except time served, $100 fine and costs, $71.50 restitution, banned from E.W. James stores.
• Ike B. Pettigrew (200 Nash St., Union City) — criminal trespassing, 60 days jail, costs; evading arrest, 60 days jail, costs; public intoxication, 30 days jail, costs.
• Kyle D. Adkins (2500 Vernon St. Ext., Apt. C3, Union City) — financial responsibility law violation,guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Anaeshka N. Brown (1905 East Vine St. Ext., Union City) — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.
• Ronnie C. Costello (4648 Newman Glover Road, Union City) — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Jermaine B. Courtney (628 Summer St., Union City) — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.
• Lindsey E. George (725 Sunswept Drive, Apt. 3, Union City) — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.

• Brandon T. Boyd (1525 Matthews St., Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, bound over to the grand jury.
• Todd C. Caudle (630 North First St., Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours jail, supervised probation, $250 fine and costs.
• Alma M. Freeman (2364 Hays St., No. 102, Gary, Ind.) — two counts of theft, 11 months and 29 days to serve four months jail, supervised probation, $100 fine and costs on each count.
• John E. Gilliland (594 Nelson Road, Halls) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $250 fine costs.
• Joan M. McNary (407 West Maple St., Humboldt) — two counts of theft, 11 months and 29 days to serve four months, supervised probation, $100 fine and costs on each count.
• Carl Meadows Jr. (1348 Elliott St., Humboldt) — two counts of theft, 11 months and 29 days to serve four months, supervised probation, $100 fine and costs.
• Josh E. Moore (800 South Red McCorkle Road, Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation except 48 hours, $750 fine and costs.
• Brian Pettigrew (616 Nash St., Apt. 51, Union City) — theft, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation except time served, $100 fine and costs, $174.88 restitution to Walmart, banned from Walmart.
• Lacey N. Quinn (1331 Hillsboro St., Apt. F-10, Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $250 fine and costs.
• Ronald J. Russell (2210 Bel Aire Circle, Union City) — misdemeanor child abuse/neglect, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, costs, anger management class, counseling and mediation.
