South Fulton police are investigating Monday’s armed robbery of a cable communications provider’s office.
An employee at New Wave Cable Communica-tions’ office at 514 Broadway was robbed at gunpoint about 10:35 a.m. by a black man who brandished a gun and demanded money.
South Fulton Police Chief Andy Crocker said the man entered the store, walked up to the counter and pointed a handgun with a blue bandanna wrapped around his hand at the clerk, demanding money. He asked the clerk several times, “Is that all of it?”
He took an undisclosed amount of money and exited through the front door, running east and disappearing around the building.
The suspect was described as a black man of thin build, about 5-feet-7-inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes, police reported.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the South Fulton Police Department at (731) 479-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 885-TIPS (885-8477).
