NEW YORK (AP) — A new crime fiction anthology is a story of guns and games.
Megan Abbott, Lawrence Block and Joyce Carol Oates are among the writers who contributed to “L.A. Noire: The Collected Stories,” some based on the plots and characters of the upcoming video game “L.A. Noire.”
Rockstar Games, the publishing arm of Take-Two Interactive Software, and Mulholland Books announced Tuesday that the anthology would come out June 6 as an e-book. The video game is scheduled for May 17.
Mulholland is an imprint of Little, Brown and Company.
