The Union City city council will meet Tuesday evening at 5:30 in the courtroom of the Union City Municipal Building.
The agenda includes an approval of minutes from the April 19 meeting, a request to solicit bids for the demolition of 1309-11 Lone Oak St.; receiving the minutes of the Planning Commission from April 21 (public hearing set for May 17, rezoning request from R-1 to B-2 for Jernigan property — parcel 11; Obion Square Shopping Center, southeastern corner of parcel 9); request for an appointment to the City Beautiful Committee from Ward 5; and consideration of various bills. Visitors will also be recognized for the hearing of grievances and/or complaints.
Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month and all sessions are open to the public. For additional information about this meeting or any other, call the city clerk at 885-1341.
