Completed arrangements are being announced for Michael Lorane “Mike” Burrus, 69, of Martin, who died April 26, 2011, at his home.
A visitation is planned for Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Martin First Baptist Church, with a private family memorial service set for a later date.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope or the American Cancer Society.
He was born March 7, 1942, in Paducah, Ky., son of Gwendolyn (Barnett) Burrus of Union City and the late Ralph Burrus. He was the husband of Andrelle (Warmath) Burrus, whom he married July 13, 1969. He was a self-employed carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is also survived by his daughter, Meredith Burrus of Murfreesboro; his son, Michael Burrus of Chattanooga; his sister, Kathy Barker of Union City; and his brother, Tim Burrus of Camden.
