Completed arrangements have been announced for Imogene (Pursell) Owens, 89, of Troy, who died April 26, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services will be noon Thursday at Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy. The Rev. Judd Mowery will officiate and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at Troy United Methodist Church after 10 a.m. Thursday.
White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Willis Leonadis Pursell and Minnie Verna (Freeman) Pursell. She married David Tillman Owens on March 1, 1942, and he preceded her in death May 1, 2005.
She had been a hairdresser for 50 years and was a member of Troy United Methodist Church for 75 years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean and Billy Ledbetter of Rives; two sons and daughters-in-law, George Tillman and Jean Owens of Troy and John Freeman and Mona Lisa Owens of Green Bay, Wis.; and seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, three sisters and two brothers.
