The City of Fulton’s siren has been restored and, during a tornado warning, the siren will be sounded.
Fulton Police Chief Terry Powell said a tornado warning is issued once a tornado has been sighted or indicated by weather radar. Tornado warnings indicate imminent danger to life and property and residents should immediately take shelter in a basement, storm cellar or interior room such as a closet, hallway or bathroom.
