The Westview boys’ soccer team proved it can hang in the upper echelon of the West Tennessee soccer teams with Friday’s 2-2 tie with Dyersburg.
With the tie, the Charger squad is now 7-3-1 on the campaign.
Futhermore, the W’view boys proved their worth on Thursday with a 2-0 blanking of McKenzie.
The Chargers play at South Fulton today.

Abraham Haddad kicked both of W’view’s goals during its tie with undefeated Dyersburg (9-0-2).
Adam Reinhard offered up one assist for the Chargers.
W’view goalie Scout Edwards had four saves during the 2-all tie.
W’view 2, McKenzie 0
Reinhard booted both goals during the Chargers’ triumph over the Rebels.
His first score came nearly 12 minutes into the second half.
“Our defense was spectacular,” Scates said. “They controlled the pace.”
Cody Hogan and Ashton Meyer each had one assist for Westview.
Scates also lauded the efforts of Noah Tow, Landon Prather, Miles Gearin and Haddad along with those of key bench players Caleb Shumake, Sumner Gilliam, Collins Alexander and Jorge Fabian.
Edwards totaled five saves.
