Terry Lynn Brooks, 59, of the Campground community near Martin died 10:54 a.m. April 23, 2011, at Regional Hospital of Jackson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following in Sandy Branch Cemetery near Martin.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening.
He was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Fulton County, Ky., son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Mason) Brooks. He was married to Cindi (Johnson) Brooks, who survives and had lived in the Campground community all his life. He was a bricklayer, who had retired in 1986, and was a member of McConnell Baptist Church. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman.
Survivors also include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kiwanda and Lonnie Roudenbush and Terri Nicole and Joe Mac Williamson, all of Dresden, and Brittany Bailey of Martin; two sons, Charles Corey Brooks and Jason Lynn Brooks, both of Martin; and six grandchildren, Courtney McMinn, Kennedee Grace Williamson and Brooke Lynn Roudenbush, all of Dresden, and Andrew Bailey Chappell-Horde, Katrina Bailey and Lindsey Bailey, all of Martin.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Faye Brooks; and his brother, Danny Brooks.
