Joyce Suzette (Stuart) A. Hopper, 72, of Union City died April 23, 2011, at her home.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating. The body will be entombed in St. Louis following the funeral.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Tues-day at the funeral home.
They request that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born Aug. 30, 1938, in Brownsville, daughter of the late Donavan Aldine and Leah (Smith) Stuart. She married Paul Dean Hopper in 1988. He died in 2002. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Western State hospital in Bolivar for 12 years. She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Leah and Lane Jackson of Union City and Sena and Jerry Craft of St. Louis; her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gina Alexander of Hopkinsville, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Adam Craft, Jeremy Craft and Alexander Craft, all of St. Louis, Hannah Jackson and Claire Jackson, both of Union City; and Connor Alexander and Ginny Alexander, both of Hopkinsville; two great-grandchildren, Saphira Craft and Aryonna Craft, both of St. Louis; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Walter Proft of St. Paul, Minn.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Lahm and Sena Ann Moses.
