The Obion Central boys’ soccer team will play at home in the playoffs. The Rebels clinched at least one home game in the upcoming regional tournament with a 4-3 victory over Crockett County on Thursday afternoon. Victor Guerrero and Brent Flowers each had one goal for OC as did Tanner Noles and Eric Torres. Torres’ boot into the net turned out to be the winning kick for the Central squad. Samuel Smith had six saves for the Rebels (6-2-2). Obion Central could secure at least second place in its division of the region with a triumph over Haywood on May 2. The Rebels travel to Dyer County on Tuesday for their next high school soccer match.
