W’view’s Reinhard
paces win over Cavs

The Westview soccer team routed Crockett County on Tuesday evening.
Adam Reinhard booted four goals for the Chargers (6-3).
Meanwhile, Abraham Haddad and Cal Brad-shaw each had one score for the Westview boys team.
Additionally, Haddad, Cameron Cates and Nic Fortner all dished out an assist during the Chargers’ latest triumph.
Westview goalie Scout Edwards made six savs.
The Charger soccer team hosts McKenzie this afternoon.

WLJT to broadcast
Skyhawk rodeo final

WLJT-DT will air the championship finals of UT Martin’s 43rd Annual Spring College Rodeo at 9 p.m.  Saturday and at 3:30 p.m. May 1.
Contestants in the UT Martin rodeo clinched  a berth in the College National Finals Rodeo set for June in Casper, Wyo. Tim Fuller serves as the announcer, while Brian White is the clown and funny man. Universal Rodeos is the stock contractor.
WLJT-DT, the public television channel for West Tennessee, has been airing the championship finals of the UT Martin rodeo for more than 25 years.

UTM to hit links
in OVC title tourney

The 2011 Ohio Valley Conference women’s and men’s golf championships will tee off at the GreyStone Golf Club in Dickson early next week.
UT Martin will compete in the men’s championship, which begins on Monday and runs through Wednesday.
The course will be a par 72 for the championship event, with the total lengh of the course running 6,858 yards
The men’s championship will feature nine teams — Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Murray State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and UT Martin.
The teams will have a practice round on Sunday and tee off on Monday morning at 8:30 a.m.
