Completed arrangements are being announced for Mary Lou Cleek, 91, of Hendersonville, formerly of Union City, who died April 21, 2011, in Hendersonville.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery, with John Paul Berry officiating. The family will receive friends at White-Ranson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Corey M. Cleek, Craig M. Cleek, Ashley D. Cleek, Robert L. Nichols, Ralph Nichols and Bob Stephens.
She was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Gibson County, daughter of the late Homer Franklin and Ella Millie (Burrow) Ramsey. She married Raymond Donnell Cleek Oct. 21, 1938. He died June 13, 1996. She and her husband had operated the former Cleek Town and Country Market in Union City for several years and she had been food service manager for Union City schools for 10 years.
She was a member of Union City First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William D. and Judy (Bynum) Cleek of Dresden and Dr. Ray F. and Gail (Stewart) Cleek of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Corey M. Cleek of Nashville, Craig M. Cleek of Atlanta, Ashley D. Cleek of Jackson and Laurie (Cleek) Ball of Knoxville; and three great-grandchildren, Mary Grace Cleek of Jackson, William Carson Ball of Knoxville and Peyton Ashley Cleek of Atlanta.
