Cordie Mae (Dickey) Buza, 88, of Westland, Mich., formerly of Samburg, died April 15, 2011, in Westland.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vermeulen Funeral Home in Westland. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Mich.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call 3-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
She was born May 6, 1922, in Obion County, daughter of the late Andrew Taylor and Jessie (Reed) Dickey. She was the widow of Leon Buza and had been employed at Wolfe Aircraft in Michigan.
Survivors include three children, Jimmy Ferguson of Gleason, Martha (Ferguson) Smith of Westland, Mich., and Rita Moulton of Sulligent, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Letha (Smith) Reavis of Hornbeak, Regina (Smith) Sedberry of Union City, Julie (Ferguson) Walker of Gleason, Jody Ferguson of Dresden, Daniel Mayville of Webberville, Mich., Lee Mayville of Brighton, Mich., and Timothy Mayville of Albuquerque; 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Vivian Andrew Dickey, George W. Dickey, Samuel Dickey and Clifford A. Dickey; and her sister, Marie (Dickey) Brishart.
