If not for a corner kick with a minute left, Westview would have left Lexington with a tie on Tuesday.
Instead, the Tigers booted the winning goal to claim a 3-2 triumph.
“Lexington just executed well down the stretch,” Charger coach Dan Scates said. “It was a hard-fought game. They just made a big play at the end.”
Adam Reinhard and Abraham Haddad each kicked one goal for Westview (4-2).
Collins Alexander and Cal Bradshaw each had one assist.
Charger goalie Scout Edwards made seven saves and stopped a penalty kick during the defeat.
