Red Carpet Event

RED CARPET EVENT — Paige Burcham Carlton (center), owner of Joann’s Gowns in Union City, was surrounded by family, friends and customers Wednesday night at Higher Ground in Union City as they watched the premier of Glamour Belles — a docu series appearing on the basic cable television channel Lifetime. The show follows the happenings in the local dress shop, where Mrs. Carlton and her staff cater to the needs of women for pageants, proms, weddings, red carpet events and everything in between. Prior to the start of the show at 9, the cast members were treated to their own red carpet, complete with photo opportunities. Mrs. Carlton was also kept busy answering phone calls and making phone calls to the house parties being held around the area, including Chattanooga, Memphis, Bristol, Chicago, New York and Hattiesburg, Miss.
