Mrs. Helen Ruth Bell, 80, of South Fulton, died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Regional Hospital in Jackson.
Memorial services were at 5 p.m. Monday at Hornbeak Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton, Ky. with Paul Adams officiating.
Mrs. Bell was born April 19, 1930 in Fulton, Ky., daughter of the late Herman Robert and Annie Mae Roberts St. John. She was a retired LPN for the former Volunteer General Hospital in Martin, a member of the Eastern Star, A.M.A., Mud Hens and Boy Scout Counsel Teacher. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church in South Fulton.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Eddie E. Bell Sr. of South Fulton; one daughter, Jan Bell of Boston; two sons, Eddie Bell Jr., and James J. Bell, both of Fulton; one brother, Neal St. John of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Chris Covington of Dresden, Russell Covington of Tiptonville, Josh Bell of Iron Furnace, Alexander Ansari of San Francisco, Calif. and William Ansari of San Diego, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Amanda Mann of Jackson and Emily Oliver of Boston.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
