Geraldine Brown, 92, of Kenton, died April 3, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Union City, where she had been a patient since Feb. 21.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton, with the Rev. Frank Kemper and Dr. Brian Robertson officiating.
Friends may call at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Brown was born in Kenton Sept. 25, 1918, daughter of the late Herbert and Myrle Taylor. She was the widow of Harlan Draper Brown and she had owned and operated Kenton Flower Shop for many years. She had been a member of Kenton First Baptist Church for more than 80 years and had taught Sunday school there and had been responsible for floral arrangements for some time.
She is survived by her cousin and caregiver, Bonnie (Cross) Moon, and her aunt, Marjorie Cross, both of Kenton; and several other cousins.
