Completed arrangements are being announced for Nora Pearl Moss, 92, of Union City, who died April 1, 2011, at Golden Living Center.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday at East View Cemetery, with White-Ranson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Jerry Leggett officiated.
Pallbearers were Mike Moss, Jeremy Moss, Johnny Hatchel, David Hatchel, Scott Powell and Chad Daniels. Honorary pallbearer was Randy Malcolm Powell.
She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Obion County, daughter of the late Arthur and Alda (Jones) Reese. She married Jesse Malcolm Moss Oct. 13, 1934. He died Sept. 16, 1991. She had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Co. in Union City for 28 years and was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church near Union City.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Moss of Martin; her daughter and son-in-law, Martha Ann and Billy Powell of Gallatin; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Louise Butts of Fulton; her sister-in-law, Catherine Scott of Lake Forest, Canada; her niece; and her nephew.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Alice Newton; and her brother, Arthur W. “Bill” Reese.
