The People Place Assembly of God at 728 Broadway in South Fulton is announcing the election of a new pastor, the Rev. Keith Tyler. An installation service is planned for Sunday at 10:30 a.m. A 1987 graduate of Central Bible College, Tyler holds degrees in music and Bible. He and his wife, Debbie, were married in 1988 and they have two sons, Joshua, who is a junior a South East Missouri College, and Aaron (pictured with his parents), a sixth-grader. Tyler says his vision is “to provide a loving, caring atmosphere for Christians and seekers to dynamically worship and minister to the Lord. That the church will provide strong Biblical teaching throughout all the ministries so that people will grow in their relationship with Christ and develop their unique ministry gifts. The church is to dynamically impact the family, the community and the world with the gospel.” The congregation invites friends and neighbors to the celebration of a new season beginning at The People Place.
