The Lady Twisters spanked Lake County 16-2 in District 14A action to even their record at 3-3.
Meanwhile, SF blasted Humboldt in both ends of a doubleheader (15-0 in Game 1 and 7-1 in the second game).
Obion Central was the lone local team to fall on Monday. The Lady Rebels lost 4-1 to Dyersburg.
Today’s slate (weather permitting) has South Fulton at Lake County.

UC 16, Lake Co. 2
The Lady Tornadoes erupted for six first-inning runs and then added four more in both the third and fourth frames to even their mark at 3-3.
Hannah Jackson ripped a grand slam to highlight UC’s 13-hit attack.
Kaitlyn Wheeles had three hits and drove in two runs, while Sadie Hollis doubled, tripled and had two ribbies. Both Aranda Tate and Brittney Parker singled twice.
Hollis squared her pitching record at 2-2 by allowing just one hit, fanning four and walking two in a complete-game performance.
Lake County contributed to its own demise by comitting eight errors.
Union City (3-3) returns to the diamond on Thursday at West Carroll.
SF 15-7, Humboldt 0-1
The Devilettes (5-0) made easy work of H’boldt during Monday’s doubleheader.
In Game 1, Marina Barclay blasted off with a home run, two doubles and three RBI.
Additionally, Macy Maxwell and Savannah Larson were both 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles. Maxwell also smacked a double.
Paxson Sisson drove in one for South Fulton.
Winning pitcher Haley McKinney (3-0 on the season) struck out six and allowed just a hit.
In the second game, Paxton Sisson and Maxwell each had one RBI.
Haeven Sisson also slapped a double.
SF’s Desiray Sturgeon was 2-for-3 with a two-bagger.
On the mound, Sara Reams improved to 2-0 on the season. Reams hurled the first three frames and struck out five. Sturgeon logged the final two innings on the hill and fanned four.
D’burg 4, OC 1
The Lady Rebels out-hit Dyersburg, but did not have an advantage where it mattered more.
All totaled, OC had six hits in comparison to the Lady Trojans five safeties.
Payton Robertson was the lone Lady Rebel with multiple safeties. Robertson was 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Meaghen Strayhorn, Kayla Bramlett, Carly Whipple and Laura Beth Shelton each had one hit for Obion Central (8-4, 1-1 in District 13AA).
OC hosts Milan on Thursday.
