Lady Lion softballers

pour it on Bradford

Dresden scored in all but the seventh inning during Tuesday’s 22-13 triumph over Bradford.

Jessica Parsley finished the contest 3-for-5 with three RBI and five runs, while Abigail Lockhart was 3-for-5 with one ribbie and four tallies.

Additionally, Jesse Jones drove in five runs.

Allie Phillips and Amy Reddick both scored twice for the Lady Lions, who totaled four runs in the first inning, six in the second, one in the third, three in the fourth, two in the fifth and six in the sixth.

Abigail Lockhart hurled five innings and struck out seven for, while Taylor McAlpin tossed two frames and fanned one.

T-ball sign ups set

for Sharon league

Registration for T-ball season at Sharon Park will be held this week.

The sign-ups are set for Friday from 4-5 p.m. and on Monday from 6-7 p.m.

The program is open to all boys and girls between the ages of five and eight years old.

Those unavailable to register on the aforementioned dates can pick up forms through April 1 at Sharon City Hall.

The fee per child is $20 per child or $35 for two in a family.

The West Tennessee Chapter of Quality Deer Management will hold a meeting at O’Allisons in Greenfield.

The meeting is set for Thursday at 6:30.

for wild game meal

Bethel Baptist of Greenfield is having a wild game supper on April 1 at 6:30. 

Television personality Alex Rutledge will be the speaker. 

Rutledge has his own hunting show on The Pursuit Channel. Door prizes will also be given away.
