Miss Hargrove to wed Powers on April 9

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Katelan Alicia Hargrove of Pulaski and Benjamin Earl Powers of South Fulton are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Richard and Babette Hargrove of Pulaski. Her grandparents are L.A. and Teresa Brown of Goodlettsville, Frank and Sue Thrasher of Cookville and the late Houston and Maggie Hargrove of Prospect.
She is a 2006 graduate of Giles County High School in Pulaski and a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
She is employed at Lowe’s Home Improvement.
The groom-elect is the son of Michael and Lorie Hardin of Mason Hall and David and Lisa Cady of Bluegrass, Iowa. His grandparents are Max and Shirley Hardin of Mason Hall, the late Norma Hardin of Union City, the late Maurice and Florence Powers of Moline, Ill., Joe and Anne Wade of Martin, James and Mary Brown of Hornbeak and David and Linda Cady of Colona, Ill.
He is a 2005 graduate of Obion County Central High School.
He is employed at American Electric Power.
The couple will wed April 9 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns.
