Richard James Feldt, 57, of Kenton died 11:05 p.m. March 20, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
There will be no services or visitation. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862, 3915 North Clover St., Union City, TN 38261.
He was born Jan. 4, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Mich., son of the late Robert Eugene Feldt. He was married to Kathy (Puckett) Feldt, who survives, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who had served in Vietnam. He was a member of Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862, of Paralyzed Veterans of Atlanta and of the Gateway Chapter in St. Louis. He had moved to this area from Atlanta 41⁄2 years ago.
Survivors also include two sons, Joseph Lynn Conner of El Paso, Texas, and Ricky Feldt of Joliet, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Hunter James Feldt of Joliet and Travis McNellis of El Paso.
