Applications accepted for Line and Design Camp

Children in grades 5-12 who are interested in the latest fashion trends, have ever dreamed of being a fashion designer or who want to spend three days creating cool sewing projects, meeting new friends and having lots of fun are being encouraged to apply for Western Region Line & Design Camp.
The Western Region Line & Design Camp will be held on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Martin July 11-13.
The cost is $95 and includes lodging, meals, workshop materials and swimming.
Topics to be learned at Line and Design Camp include:
• Decorating ideas
• Sewing for you — basic sewing skills
• Learn the art of stenciling
• Fashion show
• Learn the art of making jewelry
Due to space restrictions, registration is limited. The class size is small to ensure individual attention and completion of all projects. Participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications and fees are due May 27. Checks may be made payable to UT and sent to the UT Extension Service at 302 South Third St. in Union City.
