Westview HOSA goes to state

WESTVIEW HOSA GOES TO STATE – The Westview HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) attended the State Leadership Conference on Feb. 28 and March 1 and 2 at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Attendees included: (Front row, from left) HOSA Advisor Carolyn Glover,RN-BSN, Christy Lee, Lyndsey Jackson, Mallory Simpson-President, Dionna Alaba- Vice President, Rachel Fowler-Member at large. (Back row, from left) Samantha Daily, Lauren Baker, Katie McKenzie-Secretary, Maddiosn Boucher-Reporter, Heather Crowe, Yvee Garcia. Christy Lee placed second in Medical Terminology, Mallory Simpson placed fifth in Sports Medicine, Katie McKenzie- Physical Therapy Assisting, Samantha Daily & Lauren Baker-First Aid and CPR. Heather Crowe & Maddison Boucher- Health Career Display, Yvee Garcia-Extemporaneous Health Poster , Voting Delegates- Rachel Fowler & Dionna Alaba, Lyndsey Jackson- Human Growth and Development. The following HOSA students completed the National Recognition Portifolio, Mallory Simposn, Katie McKenzie, Lauren Baker and Samantha Daily. The WHS HOSA Chapter was also recognized for participating in HOSA Week, and donating to the National Service.
