Sharon Public Library is now on Facebook! Check us out and click the “like” button!

We have been busy this week gearing up for Summer Reading Program. It will be here before we know it. Our registration date is set for May 20 on the last day of school.

Sharon Public Library offers services to our community. The Library offers Faxing and Copying for a minimal fee. We also offer paper shredding and Free Wi-Fi.

We have dedicated the story time this month to Dr Seuss. Today’s story time was “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”. The children enjoyed coloring Dr Seuss coloring pages and each child received a “fish” bubbles.  Please bring your children by on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for story time.

We just received a shipment of new books. We have received several new young adult series as well as some of the New York Times Best Sellers list. Stop in and check us out. The Book Buzz’s next meeting is March 24 at 1:30 p.m. everyone is invited to come join our book club.  We have received several donations this week.

The Library also has several different Community items for sale, The Last 100 Years of Sharon and our Sharon Afghans. Would you like to honor a loved with a gift that keeps on giving? Our library continues to accept “In Memory” monetary donations. We are glad to announce the Mrs. Sandra Robbins will be at our Library for a book signing on March 19 9 a.m.-noon.

Our website has had a slight change so check us out at

Please stop by to check out our ongoing book sale- new books are added weekly. Don’t forget about our recycling. We are now taking ink jet cartridges, old cell phones and laser jet cartridges for recycling.
